| Rules: | This tournament is a 2-person Team scramble open to guests of any gender and age 14 and older. e.g. wife, son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, nephew, niece, neighbor, etc. The intent is for an enjoyable game with family/friends in a SEMI-COMPETITIVE morning of golf with emphasis on fun and sociability aspects. SMGA MEMBERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TEAM WITH OTHER SMGA MEMBERS FOR THIS TOURNAMENT.
SMGA Members MUST register via the SMGA Website.
If a guest does not have an established handicap, they must submit at least five (5) 18-hole scorecards to the Chairmen at least 72 hours in advance of the tournament
Member and his selected Guest are partners. Each Player will hit his/her drive and the Team will select the best drive for that 2 person team to use. Each will hit the second shot from that point and the Team will select the ball to be used. This will continue until the ball is holed out. All balls played from the selected ball location may be placed within one club length not nearer the hole (except on the putting green, 6 inches) from the selected ball location. If the selected ball location is to be played in a penalty area, both balls must be played from the penalty area.
The team will be required to use a minimum of 4 tee shots from each player during the round, including the Par 3s.
No gimmies; the ball must be holed out no matter how short the putt.
Drop Zones (DZ):
Choctaw #2 for a ball that is in the penalty area , the player may proceed under Rule 17; or as an additional option, drop a ball, under penalty of one stroke, in the DZ that is no closer to the hole than the point the ball last crossed the margin of the penalty area .
Seminole # 2 for a ball that is in the LEFT penalty area , the player may proceed under Rule 17; or as an additional option, drop a ball, under penalty of one stroke, in the DZ.

| Handicap: | 50% of Team average added at the scoreboard.

| Scoring: | Record the Teams total gross score.

| Entry Fee: | $60 + full cart fee billed to the members account

| Meal: | Lunch included;Keg of Beer and Sodas provided at Scoreboard outside after play.

| Payouts: | Number of winners of pro shop credits TBD based on numbers of entries.
|
| Ties: | Ties will be broken by scorecard playoff using the aggregate of 4 lowest handicap holes then working back with #5, #6, etc.
|
| Conditions: | If we are cart path only - Lift, Clean, and place within one club length in your own fairway, no closer to the hole and not on the putting green. If we are driving on the course, play the ball down.
|
| Extra Info: | The guests may also be a member of the club but not a SMGA member
You MUST sign up with a partner.
The committee will not be finding partners for the members. It will be up to the member to arrange for the guest payment of the entry fee.
Please obtain your guests USGA/GHIN number before you try to enter the tournament as you will need it as part of the entry process.
