with the ladies groups in a scramble format with a total of 84

and Becki Goodloe from the ladies, while Brian Blaney and
Tom Comsudes handled matters for the old guys. The IH Staff
did their usual superb job.

third in the D flight. Bill Armstrong and Herman Sasser
embarrassed themselves by finishing dead last and next to last
in the field of 86 with nets of 89 and 85.
The Oldest Active Senior
Jim McCollum is now the elder statesman of the IHSMGA
at age 86. He celebrated his longevity by firing an 84 on May
4. This is a remarkable feat, particularly when you consider the
regularity with which he shoots his age or better. This gives
hope to the rest of us that we might still be able to play this
wonderful game well into the future.
