Adjust Your Scores With Equitable Stroke Control

The ESC procedure sets a maximum score that a golfer can post on any hole, depending on the golfer's course handicap. Comparing each score to par is no longer necessary, so there's no need to worry about the number of scores you can reduce to a certain level. Simplicity has finally been accomplished! The accompanying table will be used to set the maximum hole score for posting purposes.

Remember, if you are out of a hole and pick up to speed up play or do not play the hole under the Rules of Golf, write down the score you most likely would have made. DO NOT write down the maximum score for an incomplete hole unless your probable score exceeds your maximum.
